Grade 12 student Ersultan Pitebay has received an admission offer from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The talented student from Kazakhstan shared how he managed to achieve his dream.

According to the 18-year-old Ersultan, his dream began in the eighth grade, when he started studying physics more intensively.

"I have been participating in various academic Olympiads for more than five years. In the eighth grade, I took part in the National Physics Olympiad for the first time. Later, I competed at the International Physics Olympiad, where I won two gold medals and two silver medals," Ersultan said.

To gain admission to the world-renowned American university, the student spent nearly a year preparing. He had to complete the required entrance exams and write an admission essay.

"Admission is not determined only by achievements and exam scores. The most important advice I can give to my peers is to work hard and pursue what you truly love. I am grateful to my parents and teachers, who supported me throughout this journey," said the student of the Physics and Mathematics track at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Almaty.

After graduating from the university, Ersultan Pitebay plans to continue his research in physics and contribute to the development of science in Kazakhstan.

It is worth noting that the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) consistently ranks among the world's leading universities and is recognized as a global pioneer in robotics and artificial intelligence.
